Special rules and features for shooting multiathlon competitions.

XIII. FEATURES OF SHOOTING MULTIATHLON COMPETITIONS

13.1. General provisions

Shooting multiathlon competitions consist of one or more practical shooting competitions, which are held in full compliance with these Rules.

13.2. The structure of competitions in shooting multiathlon

13.2.1. Components of the competition may be held in the same or different places and / or simultaneously or at different times, depending on the circumstances. Information about all components of the competition, namely - the place and date (including information about all prematches), available classes and categories and all other conditions and requirements must be clearly stated in advance in all printed materials of competitions in shooting multiathlon competitions, flyers, websites etc.

13.2.2. Athletes submit an application for registration in a shooting competition in the specified period and in the prescribed manner before the start of shooting Stages in any component of the competition, otherwise their registration will not be accepted. If permitted by the organizers of the shooting multiathlon competitions, athletes may only register to participate in individual component matches and not the entire shooting multiathlon competition, in which case they will not take part in the shooting multiathlon competition.

13.2.3. At the beginning of shooting multiathlon competitions, the total number of points possible in any one component match does not differ by more than 25% from the number of points in any other component match.

13.2.4. The classes of shooting multiathlon competitions are set out in Annex 3 to these Rules. Admission by the Chief Judge of the Athlete to the class in the qualifying component of the competition is considered confirmation that the Athlete meets all the requirements of this class in the component of the competition.

13.2.5. The organizers of competitions determine the classes of participants in shooting multiathlon competitions in accordance with the existing criteria specified in Annex 3 to these Rules.

13.2.6. Disqualification of an athlete in one component of the competition will not affect the further participation of this athlete in other components of the competition, if:

13.2.6.1. the final results of the athlete in the component match in which he was disqualified, will be entered as zero in the results of competitions in shooting multiathlon;

13.2.6.2. the athlete's points for other components of the competition (or part thereof) will not be changed and will remain unchanged in the results of competitions in shooting multiathlon;

13.2.6.3. an athlete who has been disqualified as part of a competition is prohibited from any further shooting activity in a shooting competition held on the same day at the same shooting range where the disqualification was obtained, regardless of the planning of the shooting range or the type of firearm used;

13.2.6.4. subject to the approval by the competition director of another component of the competition in which the athlete was not disqualified, this athlete is allowed to participate in this component of the competition on another day, and in such a review of the schedule can not be unreasonable refusal.

13.3. Counting points

13.3.1. The results of each component of the competition are calculated separately and independently of the other components of the competition.

13.3.2. The results of shooting multiathlon competitions are calculated by the classes of shooting multiathlon competitions by adding all the results in percent without corrections, which were scored by each athlete in each component of the competition, as points of shooting multiathlon competitions to the fourth decimal place.

13.3.3. In case of an equal score for the winners of the first three places in the classes of shooting multiathlon competitions, it is necessary to look at the percentage received by each athlete in the component matches in descending order until the issue with an equal score is resolved.

13.3.4. Preliminary results of shooting multiathlon competitions shall be published in the statistical area of the competition no later than 24 hours after receiving the results of all components of the competition, which have been announced as final by the relevant match directors.
